Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu ruled out of Inter Allies clash on Sunday

Accra Hearts of Oak has been dealt a big blow as they will miss their key midfielder Benjamin Afutu Kotey when they take on Inter Allies this Sunday.

The Phobians will be locking horns with Inter Allies in the regional derby at the Accra Sports Stadium on Matchday 20 of the ongoing 2020/2021 GPL season.

Afutu is suspended for the match due to accumulated yellow cards in games he played against Legon Cities FC, Berekum Chelsea and then the third in the game against Ashanti Gold last weekend.

Hearts will be missing their midfield dynamo but have also received a huge squad boost after first and second choice goalkeepers Richard Attah and Richmond Ayi returned to full-scale training and will be available for selection of their league match at home.

This was confirmed by the coach of the side Samuel Boadu.

“Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeepers Richard Attah and Richmond Ayi joined their colleagues at the training yesterday ahead of the Ghana Premier League week 20. They missed two games, Against Aduana Stars and Ashgold due to injury.”

Hearts will be seeking revenge after they lost their first leg encounter by 1-0 against Inter Allies on Matchday 3.
