A Communications team member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Ivan Billson Yeboah has been suspended from the party with immediate effect for unruly behavior according to party officials
The outspoken communicator is alleged to have pounced the party’s Regional Chairman, Yaw Owusu Bimpeh at meeting recently held at party’s headquarters in the region in the presence of other Executives and subjected him to severe beatings after a misunderstanding ensued between them over an incident yet to be identified.
“Ivan Billson Yeboah has been suspended for attacking the Regional Chairman. …his conduct was bad towards the Regional Chairman”, Regional Secretary of the party, Raymond Tando explained on Kumasi-based Nhyira Fm when host Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin confronted him on the issue.
According to the Secretary, the decision to suspend Ivan Billson Yeboah was taken by the party’s Disciplinary Committee to ensure disciplinary is maintained among members reiterating his conduct was in violation of some portions of the party’s constitution.
Meanwhile, MyNewsGh.com’s can confirm Ivan Billson Yeboah is yet to be served with his suspension letter and declined comment when reached.
