DNA Test: I won’t take legal action – Emmanuel Tagoe

Holder of WBA and IBP International lightweight belts, Emmanuel Tagoe, has said he would not take legal action against his ex-girlfriend after he discovered that a child he has been fathering for 14 years was not his biological son.

A DNA paternity test has proven that the boxer was deceived into believing he was the biological father of a boy he has been taking care of for several years.

In a touching interview with journalists, the boxer who is popularly known as “Game Boy” said taking legal action against his ex-girlfriend was out of the question since the truth has been ascertained.

“I was very sure that this boy was not mine, but my mum had gagged me. We were young when I was playing ‘Pilolo’ (hide and seek) with the girl. We were just standing and we did the thing.

“I won’t sue for damages because I have given everything to God,” Tagoe stressed.

He said he suspected a conspiracy and blackmail from his baby mama and her family.

According to him, the boy’s mother always made outrageous demands of him, including forcing him to take the boy to the school attended by Asamoah Gyan’s children.

At a point, Tagoe said he suspected blackmail from the baby mama and so decided to go in for the DNA test which proved that the boy was not his biological son.
